My work on charts tells the story of the movement of people by allegory through native and introduced plants and animals drawn on nautical charts.

Years ago I began a series of drawings on nautical charts whereby my focus is on the native OR the invasive species of the region.

I begin by learning about the area and then choosing plants and/or critters to draw.
The charts are well-used from my parent’s i years off shore on their sailboat.
