LTTA (Learning Through the Arts), Royal Conservatory of Music and the Niagara District School Board. Elementary school grades 1-5

Created hands-on art based lesson plans for core curriculum subjects and lead classes alongside the teacher. The program is designed to offer hands-on art-based solutions for teachers to use in their classes to demonstrate difficult concepts to the students.

I designed and outlined a large scale outdoor murals project and led co-op members in the “colouring in” as an all day outdoor event, September 2010

Pyramid – Center for adults with mental disabilities, Tallahassee, Florida, USA

I organized and led a project for 3 Murals to be painted on site with the League of Graduate Artists (LGA), November 2009

Watoto Village, Port Colborne, ON

Painted a mural at the St Peter’s Lutheran Church to raise $15,000 to sponsor an African Watoto Village where orphaned children will live and study. 2004

  • Build sleeping space for over 50 guests, fixed irrigation and erosion issues, planted a vegetable garden, created murals and made a performance stage for their band.

We traced the viewer’s silhouette over video shot of the surrounding area.

Visitors to the gallery were encouraged to take up a stick and join in a continual rhythmic experience by banging on a variety of ramshackle, handmade and found percussive instruments. This was a translation of an experience the art team had after a long afternoon together. Even we were surprised by the beauty of the sound that came spontaneously from our gallery goers.

Mock museum installation of the findings and artifacts of our performance art of the same name in Walmart parking lots with Heidi Haire

Tangled, Working Method Contemporary, Railroad Square Art Park. Thousands of cup hooks in all four walls and plenty of yarn and string. Viewers were invited to zigzag a line across the room. It was a colourful web by the end of the night.

Litterscape, BBC Gallery. Collaborative Viewer interactive installation with 3 other artists. We collected litter and arranged it by colour like a palette and invited the viewer to affix it to the landscape murals in a paint-by-numbers manner.
